Actually i have wrote some posts before on this blog and left this blog for around 3 years ( Lol.. ga niat bgt ngeblog ), now i have mood to back writing again and i finally can edited my blog 😀 I decided to deleted old posts which is i think not in order.
Ok, so i will start my first post talking about Australia Work and Holiday program in Australia. I bet there’re so many websites or blogs who already wrote this, but since i’m one of Australia Work and Holiday program graduated, i feel urge to write my story in getting Australia Work and Holiday visa.
If you’re Indonesian, under 30 years old, love traveling & money, I suggest you to join this program, since Indonesia only has Work and Holiday program in Australia. So, Work and Holiday program in Australia is a program that allow young people to have holiday and work for 1 year.. How cool is that! To be eligible for this program, you must meet the requirements as below:
- Are at least 18 but not yet 31 years of age
- Don’t have a dependent child with you at any time during stay in AU
- Having succesfully completed at least 2 years of undergraduate university study
- Having passport that valid at least 12 months
- Having evidence that you have good English by showing IELTS certificate with score min. 4.5
- Having evidence that you have access to enough money to support yourself generally at least AU $5,000 to support the initial stage of your work & holiday program
If you can say “yes” to all above requirements, then just go ahead to the processing to obtain “Letter of Support” from Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration as written in here. It takes ages to get interview in Indonesian Immigration from the time you register online. i must waited for about 3 months until my name comes up, other must waited for 8 months, since many people who register and getting longer if there’s problem in others documents. If you’re already get Letter of Support, you’re in safe place because the visa processing is quick, takes around 2 – 4 weeks, to know the visa processing, you can check in here. You only need to submit all documents needed, wait for HAP id, take medical check up, and just wait for visa in your email.. 🙂
I can say that this program is worth it since Indonesian only have Work and Holiday in Australia. I really hope that other countries also would consider to give Work and Holiday visa to Indonesian young people, so Indonesian young people can broaden their mind, not just about traveling, but to learn how other countries cultures, work ethic, social life.
